Book Nº 9 (The Granary) is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted, long-stitch journal. There are about 168 pages available for writing.

Burgundy leather cover with tan strap. Inside covers are lined with a photo of the grain silos that used to be located in the old section of Hilliard, Ohio.

The hand-cut, acid-free, medium weight (70lb) unruled paper takes ink and pencil nicely with no bleed-through*. It's ideal for notes, journaling, sketching, and drawing. The hand-sewn long-stitch binding method, used in conjunction with chain stitches at the top and bottom of the spine, attaches the pages directly to the leather, making it much more durable than today's mass-production bindings without the use of glue. These binding methods have been used since medieval times.

Measures approximately 5 inches by 6 inches by 1.5 inches.

*Bleed-through may occur if very heavy amounts of ink are applied in one spot.

Handcrafted in Ohio.
